The Coast Guard Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to the education and welfare of all Coast Guard members and their families, announced today the addition of Susan Ludwig to its staff as Regional Director of Philanthropy. Based in Fairfield County, Ms. Ludwig will work in the northeastern United States, concentrating on New York, Connecticut and New Jersey to engage individual, corporation and foundation donors and prospects to broaden the reach of the Foundation in the region.

Fugro Chance Tackles Noisy Acoustic Metrology Project
Fugro Chance Inc. provided 3D acoustic metrology on a large 36-inch diameter spool piece, despite environmental and logistical challenges. The highly accurate metrology was performed from a platform in Enlace Litoral Tabasco, Gulf of Mexico at a water depth of 25 meters. Active lines from the platform created a noisy auditory environment and the shallow water depth provided additional challenges in the long baseline (LBL) acoustic operations.
