Russian Court Rejects Plea to Release Greenpeace Ship
The Murmansk Regional Court has rejected an appeal against the arrest of the ship 'Arctic Sunrise' by Russian authorities reports Greenpeace. "This is an extremely disappointing ruling. We believe this verdict is in violation of both the Russian Criminal Procedure Code and international law. Cassation procedures are now available under Russian law," said Gerrit-Jan Bolderman, Director of Stichting Phoenix, the ship’s owner.

Nordic American Tankers Limited announce an underwritten public offering of approximately $65 million aggregate amount of common shares. Harkand Ramps up Activity in Asia Pacific
Harkand has increased its presence in the burgeoning Asia Pacific region by securing a clutch of multimillion dollar contracts for execution in 2013/14. Under a deal with PTSC Offshore Services, the ROV support vessel Harkand Harmony has been deployed on its first charter since joining the fleet in August and is carrying out flexible lay operations in the Ruby Field, offshore Vietnam, with the charter expected complete in late November.
EnerMech Sets $452 Million 2014 Sales Target
Oil and gas services group EnerMech Ltd. has predicted 2014 turnover will increase to more than £280 million ($452m), a jump of £80 million ($129m) on the current year’s forecast and double the £144 million ($232m) revenue recorded in its 2012 annual accounts. The Aberdeen-based company’s 2012 group accounts showed an £11 million ($17.7m) profit (EBITDA) on revenue which grew 41% from £102 million ($165m), and it expects 2013 EBITDA to break the £20 million ($32m) barrier.
