The Mexican Navy contracted Damen Shipyards Group for the design and material package of a Damen Stan Patrol 4207, including technical assistance. Dutch Navy Contracts Imtech for Submarine Upkeep
Imtech Marine signed a contract to be involved in the execution of the capability upkeep program Walrus-class submarines (IP-W) of the Royal Netherlands Navy. The Dutch Defense Materiel Organization granted Imtech Marine Netherlands the assignment to carry out the mechanical, engineering and electrical upgrade works on board the submarines. The assignment will be carried out at the Naval base in Den Helder and will run from 2013 until 2020.

HoOk Offshore Crane R&D Project Launched

Austal held a keel-laying ceremony for the fourth Joint High Speed Vessel Fall River (JHSV 4), one of ten Austal-designed 103-meter U.S. Navy Joint High Speed Vessels under contract with the U.S. Navy. Wärtsilä to Supply Direct Electric Heating for Chevron African Offshore Oilfield
Wärtsilä was contracted to supply its Direct Electric Heating (Wärtsilä DEH) system for Chevron Overseas Congo Limited's Lianzi offshore development project, located off the Republic of Congo and Angolan coasts. The 9,000-kW system will be used to heat the 43-km subsea production pipeline between the Lianzi field and the Benguela Belize Lobito Tomboco (BBLT) platform. The Lianzi field lies approximately 100 km off the coast of the Republic of Congo, and the BBLT platform is located in Angola.
