Incat Crowther Launches 26m Catamaran Ferry
Incat Crowther is pleased to announce the launch of the 26m catamaran, Cat Cocos Isle of La Digue at Richardson Devine Marine in Hobart. The vessel has successfully completed seas trials, where it proved the efficiency of Incat Crowtherâs hull form by exceeding fuel consumption predictions. Transas Marine developed a new shipyard crane simulator under a request from BALENCIAGA Shipyard (Spain). The simulator will enable safe and cost-effective training of crane operators working with berth gantry crane of 160 t. BALENCIAGA Shipyard purchased this crane in 2006 in order to build large ship construction blocks which are assembled in the workshops and then transferred outside by hydraulic buggies.

Statoil Increases its Presence In Indonesia
Statoil has farmed in to three offshore exploration licenses in Indonesia, significantly expanding the presence in the country. Statoil will acquire a 40% equity interest in a North Makassar Strait Production Sharing Contract (PSC) and a similar interest in two additional offshore PSCs (West Papua IV and Halmahera-Kofiau). The three production sharing contracts (PSC) will be operated by Niko Resources Ltd.
