45 Tonne Bollard Pull ASD Tug Delivered
Soco (ex-Ulupinar VIII), the third of three newbuilding Robert Allan Ltd. design 45 tonne bollard pull compact ASD tugs, has been delivered by Sanmar Denizcilik Makine of Istanbul, Turkey to Caucedo Marine Services, Ltd. of Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. Caucedo Marine owns the sister-tug Haina which was delivered in 2008. The Soco will be fully operated by Remolcadores Dominicanos, owner of the sister-tug Nizao built last year.
