Incat Crowther Designs Ferry for Malaysia
Incat Crowther has been commissioned to design a passenger transport ferry to be operated by Cataferry Sdn Bhd, in Malaysia. The main deck features a full width cabin accommodating 151 passengers. This area includes interior seating, a cargo luggage area, locker rooms for switch boards and an entertainment bar. Aft of the cabin features three restrooms and a luggage room to hold cargo. A swim deck is featured below, on the aft portion of the main deck.
Incat Crowther Designs 63m Ferry for Central America
Incat Crowther announced it has been commissioned to design a 63-meter monohull passenger ferry vessel for an undisclosed operator in Central American. The main deck features a cabin hosting 286 first-class seats, 20 lounge seats, four handicap accommodation seating areas, and a children’s play area with surrounding seating. The aft deck features a cargo room with cargo loading gates, able to fit a portable conveyor belt for loading and unloading.
Incat Crowther Designs New Ferries for Singapore
A new class of 33-meter catamaran passenger ferries has been designed by Incat Crowther for Majestic Ferries in Singapore, to operate between Singapore and Batam. With four of the vessels already under construction at PT Cahaya Samudra Shipyard in Indonesia, the design targets increased speed, capacity and fuel savings in return on the operator’s investment in the new fleet, the designer noted. Powering each vessel will be a pair of MAN D2862 LE463 main engines driving fixed pitch propellers.

New Incat Crowther Build Underway
Incat Crowther announced that construction has commenced on a 28m Catamaran Utility Vessel. Under construction at Marine Diesel Services, the vessel will be delivered to Nordic Maritime. Incat Crowther Design 10-Boat IUV Order
Incat Crowther say they supported Strategic Marine in their winning technical proposal for the construction of ten 42m Infield Utility Vessels (IUV) for Brunei's PTAS Marine, and the first boat has now been delivered. Strategic Marine called in Incat to assist in their technical proposal for the project, committing to a timeframe of just 15 months from contract signing to the delivery of the ninth vessel. The tenth boat will be retained by PTAS as a backup vessel throughout the contract period.

Following the success of the Incat Crowther designed Ultrajet I, Ultrajet II and Ultrajet III, UltraMar approached Incat Crowther to develop a high capacity boat for the operator’s demanding Cozumel operation.
