Incat Crowther Launches 24m Catamaran Ferry
Incat Crowther has announced the launch of a 24m Catamaran Ferry constructed by Marine. Engineering Consultants. Based on the successful Fantasea Sunrise (launched in 2011), Riverside Avalon is the first of three vessels contracted by Riverside Marine to ferry construction workers to the QCLNG project on Curtis Island. As delivered, Riverside Avalon carries 246 passengers over two decks, with seats are arranged in forward facing rows.

Incat Crowther Launches 27.6m Catamaran Crewboat
Incat Crowther has announced the launch of a second 27.6m Wave Piercing Catamaran Crew Boat, Topaz Zephyr. Based on the innovative Topaz Zenith, launched in June, Topaz Zephyr has been optimized to provide 24-hour support to offshore oil and gas operations. The vessel differs from the earlier design by having a full width superstructure allowing greater accommodation space. Together with increased fuel capacity, this allows the vessel to operate uninterrupted over a 24 hour service pattern.

Incat Crowther Announces Launch of 37m Catamaran Ferry
Incat Crowther is pleased to announce the launch of the 37m Catamaran Passenger Ferry Kilimanjaro III. Built by Richardson Devine Marine (RDM), Kilimanjaro III is the third vessel from the designer builder partnership for Coastal Fast Ferries in Tanzania, Africa. Kilimanjaro III was developed following the success of Kilimanjaro I and Kilimanjaro II. Incat Crowther and RDM were approached by the operator to develop a larger, faster and more versatile vessel.
Incat Crowther Designs Third Catamaran for Offshore Unlimited
Incat Crowther is designing a 35m Catamaran Work Boat for Offshore Unlimited. The vessel will be the third vessel resulting from the three-way partnership between builder Richardson Devine Marine, Incat Crowther and the operator. The three partners have already developed the 24m Catamaran Unlimited in 2008 and the 28m Limitless in 2010. This third vessel will benefit from the experience gained by the operator, designer and builder from these earlier vessels.

The vessel has successfully completed seas trials, where it proved the efficiency of Incat Crowther’s hull form by exceeding fuel consumption predictions. The 26m, 227 passenger vessel is the third Incat Crowther designed vessel for the operator, and was designed with the specific goal of reduced capital expenditure and operating costs.
Incat Crowther Designs Ferries for Russian Builder
Incat Crowther is pleased to announce that contracts have been signed with Russian builder Pacifico Marine for two catamaran ferry projects. Incat Crowther and Pacifico Marine have formed a relationship that sees the design company assist Pacifico Marine to service the Russian market with proven designs. Incat Crowther Redefines Wind Farm Service Craft
Incat Crowther announced the launch of the 57.4-ft catamaran, Santa Ana, and the completion of extensive sea trials. The Santa Ana is specificaly designed for the wind farm service industry. Built by Lyme Boats in the UK, Santa Ana features Incat Crowther’s hull form. Operator P&O Maritime Services saw the platform’s potential for wind farm service and worked with Lyme Boats and Incat Crowther to develop the vessel’s design.
Incat Crowther to Design Quicksilver 6 Passenger Ferry
Incat Crowther has secured a contract to design a 138-ft Wave Piercing Catamaran Ferry for Quicksilver Bali. The Indonesian operator runs day tours and dinner cruises out of Bali, using the Incat Crowther-designed Wave Piercing Catamaran Quicksilver 6. Under construction at PT Caputra Mitra Sejati Shipyard, the vessel will be built to Lloyd’s Register and carry 450 passengers in two salons and on three outdoor decks.

Incat Crowther worked closely with Baltic workboats in their successful bid, developing a vessel utilizing the same platform as the research vessel.
Incat Crowther Launches 118-ft Monohull Crewboa
Incat Crowther announced the launch of the 118-ft Monohull Crewboat Siem Piata. The vessel was recently launched by ETP Engenharia Ltda in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, successfully completed sea trials and was delivered to Siem Consub for service to Petrobras. Developed primarily at Incat Crowther’s USA office in Morgan City Louisiana, Siem Piata will perform the role of a P2 crew boat in the Siem Consub fleet.
