Japan's First High Pressure Fuel Gas System Ordered
Bestobell Marine, part of the President Engineering Group (PEGL), has received an new order to supply its globe and check valves for Japan’s first high pressure fuel gas system that will be installed within a marine vessel. The order will see Bestobell Marine supply a number of its cryogenic globe and check valves to be installed in two sister ships being built by Imabari Shipbuilding Group in Japan for Elcano.
WWI U-Boat Propeller Returned to German Navy
A brass propeller from the first U-Boat to be sunk a century ago has been given back to the country it belongs to, the U.K. Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) reported. CMA CGM Adds Iskenderun Call on BEX Service
The CMA CGM Group has announced that starting June 16, a call in the South Turkish port of Iskenderun will be added to the Group’s Bosphorus Express Line (BEX). The CMA CGM Group adapts its offer to its clients’ needs and introduces a unique service between Asia and Iskenderun on the market. LR to Class Entire NORDEN Fleet
Ship operator Dampskibsselskabet NORDEN A/S, based in Copenhagen, has contracted LR to class 57 ships, including the full NORDEN fleet and other externally managed NORDEN owned ships. Thirty-two of the ships in the agreement will be transfer of class (ToC) ships and includes nine new ships which will transfer to LR upon delivery. Four ships are currently classed by LR and 16 externally managed ships will also be transferred to LR as part of this agreement.

Russia to Cut Pipeline Oil Exports, Oil Transit
Russia plans to cut oil exports by pipeline and oil transit by 0.6 percent to 52.5 million tonnes in the third quarter, quarter-on-quarter, trade sources citing a loading schedule said on Tuesday. The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Reuters oil exports and transit via the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk were seen rising to 12.4 million tonnes from 12.1 million in the second quarter. Those through the Ust-Luga port were seen falling to 6.6 million tonnes from 7 million.
