Gazprom Not Considering Gas Pipe to Japan

Russian gas producer Gazprom is not considering building a gas pipeline to Japan because of ecological reasons, the firm's deputy CEO, Alexander Medvedev, said on Tuesday.

Medvedev said Japan was a target market for liquefied natural gas (LNG).
