Boskalis Wins Dutch 'Room for the River' Contract
Royal Boskalis Westminster has been awarded a contract by the Vallei en Veluwe district water board for the construction of the Veessen-Wapenveld high-water channel in the province of Gelderland, the Netherlands. The project is one of the more than 30 measures that make up the Dutch national Room for the River program, which is aimed at providing better flood protection for areas close to the country's rivers.

Aker to Deliver Drilling Package in the North Sea
Aker Solutions won a contract from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) to deliver a drilling equipment package for the production platform at the Mariner oilfield in the U.K. North Sea. The parties agreed not to disclose the value of the order, which includes a complete topside equipment package. Aker Solutions will also provide necessary support services at DSME's shipyard in South Korea and during the offshore installation phase.
Reflex Marine Reports 52% Growth
Reflex Marine reported 52% growth in the last year through expanding global markets. Reflex said it has reached £5.8 million turnover, almost double its forecasted growth of 27% - with a profit before tax of around £1 million. Reflex Marine will donate 7.5% of its net profits (a record c.£56,000) to charitable causes via its not-for-profit Reflex Foundation.
