UK's Proserv Wins Platform Topside Controls Contract
Proserv secure a £1.2-million contract to supply topside control equipment at a major southern North Sea development. The company was awarded the deal on the Cygnus field by operator GDF SUEZ through its design contractor AMEC. Konecranes Get Port of Houston RTG Order
Konecranes ordered to provide eight advanced design RTG (Rubber Tired Gantry) container terminal cranes to Port of Houston Authority. This is the second Konecranes fuel-saving RTG delivery for PHA, which already has 49 Konecranes RTGs in its terminals. The cranes will be delivered in autumn 2013. The value of the order is not disclosed. The Port of Houston is the number one port in the United States in foreign waterborne tonnage, and handles nearly 230 million tons of cargo a year.
