Ince & Co partner Jamila Khan has moved to the firm’s Piraeus office. Jamila has a broad practice covering all aspects of shipping and international trade and commodities disputes and commercial transactions. She has close links with the Greek shipping industry having spent a year in Piraeus from 2003 to 2004. She is a key member of the firm's Italy and Turkey teams. Jamila acts for ship owners, operators and charterers on a variety of dry shipping matters including charterparty disputes.

Kleven Wins Rem Offshore Construction Vessel Contract
Kleven gets contract to build it largest subsea construction vessel yet for Rem Offshore. The design is for a length of 108m and a width of 22m, with accommodation for a total of 110 persons. The ship is equipped with a 250t offshore crane that can work down to 3000m ocean depth, a 7.2m square moonpool, and 3 ROVs (2 Work, 1 Observation). The new building will be delivered in the first quarter of 2014. Kleven say they now have 14 vessels in the order book, at a value of almost NOK 7-billion.
