For years T.O.S. has been a worldwide specialist in the transportation of vessels on their own keel. With the growth of the number of performed ship deliveries (in particular of ASD vessels) T.O.S. became an expert in supplying ASD captains, delivering ASD tug boats and providing ASD training on the spot for the new crew.
Amarcon Receives Subsea 7 Order

Expro’s AX-S Subsea Well Intervention System

International oilfield services company Expro is celebrating the commissioning of its ground-breaking AX-S well intervention system. The AX-S system, on board the Havila Phoenix vessel, completed its final commissioning successfully on a subsea well in a fjord (Onarheimsfjorden), in Norway, in April. Many major milestones were achieved and preparations are now under way for its first commercial well intervention job in the North Sea.
£12m North Sea Contracts for Atlantic Offshore Rescue

Aberdeen-based standby vessel operator Atlantic Offshore Rescue (previously Sartor Offshore Rescue) has secured contracts in the last few weeks with major oil companies worth a combined £12million. The vessels will provide support in the UK North Sea for Shell, Nexen, Hess and Talisman Energy (UK) Limited. Atlantic Offshore has been in operation since 1995 and manages a fleet of nine emergency response and rescue vessels (ERRVs) and four platform supply vessels (PSVs) out of Aberdeen.
RINA Group to Project-Manage Indonesian FSRU

Italy-based RINA Group will deliver concept selection, FEED, support during negotiations with potential shipyards, project management during construction, and support for commissioning for a new floating LNG FSRU terminal in South Sumatra, Indonesia. RINA has been appointed by PGAS Solution, a subsidiary of PGN, Indonesia’s largest natural gas distribution company, which will own and operate the FSRU.

BAE Systems Targets Commercial Repair Market

BAE Systems recently completed a four week repair docking for the platform supply vessel (PSV) the ‘Lady Kari-Ann’ in its Williamstown shipyard. Owned by Farstad Shipping, the Lady Kari-Ann is the first commercial ship repair project undertaken in the yard since 2009. Work on the vessel included a 30-year survey, paint work on the hull, superstructure and tanks as well as underwater valves and other mechanical work associated with the ship’s propulsion.
