HMS, Corpus Christi Enhance Harbor Ferry Service
MARCH 11, 2011 (NEW ALBANY, Ind.) HMS Global Maritime is excited to announce the launching of the Harbor Ferry service in Corpus Christi, Texas, serving the Coastal Bend community and surrounding areas. In a partnership with the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), HMS Global Maritime will launch the service to the community on March 12, 2011, making it their eighteenth operating location worldwide.

Incat Crowther to Design Quicksilver 6 Passenger Ferry
Incat Crowther has secured a contract to design a 138-ft Wave Piercing Catamaran Ferry for Quicksilver Bali. The Indonesian operator runs day tours and dinner cruises out of Bali, using the Incat Crowther-designed Wave Piercing Catamaran Quicksilver 6. Under construction at PT Caputra Mitra Sejati Shipyard, the vessel will be built to Lloyd’s Register and carry 450 passengers in two salons and on three outdoor decks.
Coast Guard Foundation Welcomes USCG Barque Eagle to Philadelphia
The Coast Guard Foundation announced that it will host a reception to welcome the U.S. Coast Guard Barque Eagle at the Independence Seaport Museum at Penn’s Landing on March 18, 2011, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The official kick-off and first stop of the Eagle’s 75th anniversary tour, the reception will raise awareness of the Coast Guard Foundation’s mission to serve the men and women of the Coast Guard, as well as its support for leadership and training of the country’s Coast Guard officers.
