All-In-One Dye for Leak Detection
Tracer Products has developed a fluorescent dye, TP-3405CS Dye-Lite All-In-One, improves leak detection in all oil and oil-based fluid systems. It is effective with all UV and blue light lamps. TP-3405CS Dye-Lite All-In-One dye contains two fluorescent dyes. One fluoresces best under UV and the other under blue light. The dye is circulated through the vehicle’s fluid system and will escape with the host fluid through the small leaks.

SeaSoar Towed Vehicle for UTM in Spain
Chelsea Technologies Group has recently sold a SeaSoar Towed Undulating System to the UTM CSIC in Spain. UTM required a towed vehicle with capability of undulating down to depths of 500 metres. The SeaSoar was chosen for this reasons, as well as for its ability to provide a flexible payload allowing UTM to mount a range of instrumentation. The SeaSoar was fitted with a Seabird Electronics SBE 911 CTD, with dual C and T sensors fitted each side of the SeaSoar.

Largest Ferry in the English Channel
The production of the first of the two huge ferries ordered by P& O Ferries started on the 3rd of March 2009 by cutting its first steel plate on STX Europe’s yard in Rauma, Finland. The roro-passenger ferries to carry freight and cars are scheduled for delivery in 2010 and 2011 for entering into Dover-Calais service. Becoming the largest ferry in the English Channel means a 49,000 GT vessel with the length of 689 ft and having 2,700 lane metres of vehicle space.
