Safariland Delivers on $4.6M U.S Navy Contract
Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, announced that it has completed delivery of ballistic protection kits to Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding for use on each of 12 U.S. Navy escort vessels. The 64-ft Screening Escort Vessels (SEV) will be operated by the U.S. Coast Guard for securing high-value naval assets. The ballistic protection kits were manufactured under Safariland’s Protech line of Armor Systems, and provide lightweight, superior ballistic performance.
Furuno New Stand-Alone Radar
Furuno introduced its new 1835/19x5 Color LCD Radar series. According to Furuno, demand has been rising for a stand-alone Radar series of similar size and power, paired with a brighter, high resolution, color LCD display.
