The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will host a webcast on July 27 at 1:00 pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time for vessel operators required to comply with the Vessel General Permit (VGP).

On July 22, 2009, the Royal Australian Navy replenishment oiler HMAS Success (AOR 304) sends a fuel probe to the guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) during an underway replenishment. McCampbell is underway with the Essex Strike Group in support of the bilateral training exercise Talisman Saber 2009, a biennial exercise between U.S. and Australian forces designed to enhance interoperability.
