Woodington to recover the cutterhead/ladder which was buried to a depth of 100 feet as a result of an underwater cave-in that occurred while recovering sand from an in-land sand pit. The key laying of two CSDās 500 will take place on Thursday June 2 in Sharjah (UAE). VOSTA LMG signed a contract with Jordan Modern Industries (JMI) for supply of two CSDās 500 in March 2011. $43 Million Contract Awarded Of New Backhoe Dredge
PANAMA CITY, Panama, April 27, 2011 - The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) has awarded a $43 million contract to Dutch company IHC Engineering Business Ltd., a part of IHC Merwede Group, for the design and construction of a new backhoe dredge. The addition of this new dredge to the ACPās existing fleet in December 2012 will increase the ACPās ability to effectively dredge as part of the Expansion Program and future maintenance projects.
