U.S. Dredging Boom Has Long Legs

With nearly $3 billion obligated in the past few years for the recapitalization of the U.S.-flag Jones Act dredging fleet, the U.S. dredging market is embarked on a historic expansion to keep U.S. waterways clear – commerce arteries that are critical to the national economy. Bill Doyle, the head of the Dredging Contracts of America, discusses the many opportunities for the U.S. maritime market as a whole.


The orderbook for U.S. dredgers is about $3B, and according to DCA CEO Bill Doyle, the incoming political administration could help this niche maritime sector continue its bull run.
