Maritime Craft Services takes delivery of MCS Pampero
A Scottish maritime company has taken delivery of a second Twin Axe Design offshore wind farm support vessel. MCS Pampero, sister vessel to MCS Sirocco which joined the fleet in June, was handed over to Maritime Craft Services in Singapore and will go straight to work in NW Europe from mid-December. They join crew transfer vessels MCS Zephyr and MCS Maestro South Boat catamarans which were acquired last year.

RotorTug RT Ambition Arrives in Bremerhaven
On November 16 KOTUG´s new build RotorTug RT Ambition arrived in Bremerhaven. The tug left ASL Singapore Shipyard on September 22, 2012 and sailed under own power. RT Ambition measures 32 x 12 m, with a installed power totaling 6,456 BHP and a bollard pull of 84 tons. Craig Group Predicts Strong 2013 Growth
Aberdeen (Scotland) based global shipping and energy services firm, Craig Group, has announced healthy results for the year ending April 2012. The privately owned, family-run business has reported turnover of £123.3 million with operating profits of £14.8 million. This is an increase on their 2011 turnover of £11.4 million and a £1.7 million increase on operating profit from the same time period. EBITDA has risen from £19.1million in 2011 to £21.3millionin 2012.
Port of Hamburg Results: Exports Up, Imports Down
The Port of Hamburgās overall results for the first nine months characterized by export growth and an import downturn. In the first nine months of 2012 the Port of Hamburg achieved total throughput of 98.1 million tons (down 0.8 percent). General cargo throughput at 69.2 million tons was just ahead of last yearās figure (up 0.2 percent). Bulk cargo throughput at 28.8 million tons stayed behind the previous yearās (down 3.3 percent).
