The Netherlands' electricity grid operator TenneT reported that a power outage at the Rotterdam Port area affected the major petrochemical industries located there on Tuesday morning for several hours. However, the problem was resolved shortly after 1000 GMT.

European shares increase after Powell's dovish remarks; focus on elections
