New Joint Venture for the Suezmax Market
Euronav NV has formed a commercial joint venture with Diamond S Management LLC and Frontline Ltd. with the aim of creating a single point of contact for cargo owners to access a fleet of 43 Suezmax vessels, including newbuildings, operated on the spot market. The joint venture, which will be named Suezmax Chartering, will commence operation June 2 from the existing offices of Euronav, Diamond S and Frontline Management AS.
PALFINGER Awarded 15-vessel Winch Contract
PALFINGER MARINE Winches and Offshore Equipment has signed a contract for the supply of complete winch packages to 15 Module Carrier Vessels being built for Topaz Energy and Marine. The vessels, of VARD 9 21 design, are developed by Vard Design to navigate the shallow river systems as they transport modules through the Russian waterways to oilfields in Kazakhstan. Measuring 123 by 16.5 meters, the vessels are designed to carry high deck loads of up to 1,800 tons.

Naust Marine has secured a contract to supply Autotrawl (Autotow) Winch Control to four Sakhalin trawlers—a first for BATM-class trawlers of the Russian Far East.
