Alfa Laval Debuts Inline Scrubber Design
Alfa Laval’s PureSOx exhaust gas cleaning system platform now includes an inline scrubber design: I-design. “Through open-loop, closed-loop and hybrid arrangements, PureSOx can be suited to any vessel’s sailing profile,” says René Diks, Manager Marketing & Sales, Exhaust Gas Cleaning at Alfa Laval. The inline scrubber design, or I-design, builds directly upon PureSOx technology, providing an additional alternative for vessels with more complex structural needs.

Fugro to Survey off Equatorial Guinea
Fugro has been awarded a contract by Ophir Equatorial Guinea (Block R) Limited for the provision of survey services for the development of large scale assets and infrastructure offshore Equatorial Guinea. Under the contract Fugro will deploy three of its specialist vessels - Fugro Searcher, Fugro Scout and Fugro Frontier – to perform autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) surveys as well as geotechnical, environmental and metocean surveys.
