Belgian Law Firm Says Contacted by OW Bunker Investors
Belgian law firm Deminor said it had been contacted by 15 to 20 investment firms considering legal action over the failure of OW Bunker, the world's largest shipping firm which filed for bankruptcy a week ago. Deminor, which specialises in representing institutional investors in class actions against public listed companies, did not say on Friday which investors had contacted it and gave no further detail on possible actions over the company's collapse.

Hamburg Süd yesterday christened another containership in its San class, as the official naming ceremony of the newbuild San Clemente was held at the Marina Bay Cruise Center in Singapore, with customers and business partners. The San Clemente is one of Hamburg Süd’s series of three San class newbuilds constructed at the Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan. Like her sister ships, she has a container slot capacity of 9,034 TEU and 1,370 reefer slots.
Hatz Presents New Engine Concept Study
Hatz Diesel presented the concept study of the new 4H50TIC as a marine version at SMM. The engine has been manufactured in series production since the beginning of 2014 and is designed primarily for use in construction machinery, as well as for stationary and mobile applications. The engine has been converted for use as a marine propulsion engine, with keel cooling adopted for the required engine cooling and to reduce heat radiation and insulation was installed for the exhaust silencer.
