Swissco Extends Monohull Crewboat Fleet
Incat Crowther announced that Cheoy Lee has delivered a second pair of 36m Monohull Crewboats to Singapore-based operator Swissco Holdings. Swissco Spring and Swissco Leopard follow on from the highly successful Swissco Puma and Swissco Cheetah. The design features 94 square meters of aft cargo deck, capable of carrying 50 tons. The main deck passenger compartment features 70 seats, beverage counter, luggage racks and a pair of heads.

Liebherr Delivers Two Carnes to Indian Shipyard
Liebherr-Werk Biberach GmbH delivered two cranes for permanent use in a Lavgan Dockyard in India. The two 200 EC-H 10 FR.tronic top-slewing cranes will be used permanently in the ship repair yard operated by Lavgan Dockyard Ltd. near Ratnagiri in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The tower cranes have a load moment of 200 metric tons and are used to position heavy components which are being replaced as part of repair work on ships.

Port of LA Container Volumes on the Rise
The Port of Los Angeles has released its September 2014 containerized cargo volumes, showing overall volumes in September 2014 increased 9 percent compared to September 2013. Total cargo for September was 775,133 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs), marking the busiest single month at the port since August 2006. According to the port, the increased volume reflects peak season volumes and larger vessels calling at the Port of Los Angeles.
