Stolt-Nielsen to Present Q1 Results
Stolt-Nielsen Limited (Oslo Bors: SNI) announced today that a presentation and video webcast to discuss the company's unaudited results for the first quarter of 2014 will be held on Thursday, April 03, 2014 at 3 p.m. CEST (9 a.m. EDT, 2 p.m. BST) in the auditorium at Swedbank, Filipstad Brygge 1, 0115, in Oslo, Norway. BOURBON Committee to Examine JACCAR Bid
At its meeting of March 21, 2014, the board of directors of BOURBON noted JACCAR Holding’s proposed bid for shares of BOURBON. It decided to appoint a committee of four independent group directors (Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Guy Dupont, Philippe Sautter and Mahmud Tukur) to examine this project; this committee will solicit proper consultation in undertaking this review. The board will make a decision on the basis of their recommendations when the final terms of the offer are known.
Panama Canal Locks Contract in Effect
The agreement between the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) and Grupo Unidos por el Canal. S.A. (GUPC) took effect Thursday, March 20 after signature by all involved parties. As announced by the ACP on February 27, the agreement falls within the terms of the contract for the design and construction of the third set of locks and does not include any payment for claims. GUPC's claims must be processed through the mechanisms within the contract. The contractor finishes the works in December 2015.

Passenger Medevaced from Cruise Ship
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) reported that its boatcrew from Station Mayport in Atlantic Beach medically evacuated an injured Carnival Fascination cruise ship passenger near Atlantic Beach Saturday evening. According to the USCG, one of the cruise liner’s onboard doctors requested a medevac after the 56-year old man was reportedly experiencing stroke symptoms. A discussion with a Coast Guard flight surgeon then led to the decision to transport the man to shore via Coast Guard small boat.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) booked an extraordinary loss of approximately 60 billion yen (roughly $586 million USD) on the build of two cruise ships as a loss provision related to the construction work in its consolidated financial results for fiscal year (FY) 2013 (ending March 31, 2014). In November 2011, MHI received an order for two large-sized cruise ships for the AIDA Cruises brand, a company that belongs to the COSTA Group, a European subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc.
