Japanese Fleet ECDIS Contract for Cornes-MARIS Alliance

Norwegian maritime electronics specialist MARIS and Japanese high-tech firm Cornes & Co., Ltd. say they have won their first contract to deliver ECDIS equipment for the entire vessel fleet controlled by an unspecified Tokyo-based ship management company. Maritime Communication Partner (MCP) has been contracted by DeepOcean to provide state-of-the-art online and mobile communications for a Kleven newbuild MT6022 offshore vessel which will provide Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) services for all Statoil operated fields on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
