Wärtsilä Propulsion Packages for China's New Rescue Vessels
Wärtsilä has been contracted by the People’s Republic of China’s Communications Import & Export Corporation to supply the main propulsion system for four new ocean rescue vessels. The ships are being built at the CSSC Guangzhou Huang-Pu Shipbuilding Company Ltd shipyard in China, and are scheduled for delivery at the end of 2014. The order was signed in the second quarter of 2013 and is part of a series of contracts covering a total of 22 vessels.

New OSV Named in Havyard's Fosnavåg Yard
The new OSV is of a Havyard 832 design, and is the seventh vessel Havyard has constructed for the Indian shipping company Global Offshore Services. Havyard say that this is the largest ever vessel to be named in Fosnavaag, something which justified some major celebrations, and Havyard invited everyone in the town to an open boat session plus a free concert from the well-known Norwegian rap duo Erik and Kriss.
