Overload test for Liebherr Heavy Lift Crane
Currently the support vessel Caballo Marango is being equipped with a Liebherr heavy lift crane, type BOS 35000, in the port of Rostock. The overload test has now been carried out and the offshore crane successfully lifted 1,100 t which is 110% of its maximum lifting capacity. The crane, offering a maximum boom length of 102 m, was built at the Liebherr plant in Rostock within the last eight months.
