BIMCO has developed the easy-to-use EEDI Calculator to assist its members calculating the EEDI and plotting a ship’s index against the relevant ship type specific regulatory limits imposed by MARPOL Annex VI. The EEDI Calculator is an implementation of the calculation guideline contained in IMO Circular MEPC.1/Circ.681.
