Wilhelmsen Ships Moves Rig Half-way Across the World
Wilhelmsen Ships Service recently arranged transportation of an oil rig from Edmonton Canada, through the United States to Kuwait. The land based oil rig consisted of 3,675 cubic metres of cargo with the heaviest unit being 52 tons. The rig was transported on behalf of our customer, Burgan Company, which specializes in well drilling, trading and maintenance. Burgan is the leading company in Kuwait for oil well exploration, drilling and work-over.
