In the midst of a significant down turn in the worldwide demand for new crewboats, Strategic Marine is delivering vessels from their Singapore shipyard as well as their new Mexican yard. Recently delivered from the Singapore shipyard the 101.7-ft by 24.6-ftr crew boat Colibri I. Built for Indonesias Baruna Raya Logistics the new vessel is the fourth such vessel delivered to the Indonesian company.

Hope Services, Inc. (HSI) Delivers Again
On October 5, 2009, Hope Services Inc. (HSI) delivered the M/V Lavaca Bay to Higman Marine Services, of Houston, Texas. The 2000 horsepower boat measures 72 ft by 30 ft with a draft of 10 ft. Hope Services, Inc. has been designing and building vessels since 1986, but has been expanding its operations over the last year to include more vessel repair and refurbishment at its Dulac, Louisiana, facility.

STX Europe Contract for Eco-Friendly Design
STX Europe has been awarded a contract with Deep Sea Supply for design and building of a Platform Supply Vessel. The new PSV 09 CD design, optimized for eco-drive in all weather conditions, is designed by STX Europe in Ålesund, Norway.
