Wärtsilä Expands in Norway

Wärtsilä in Norway has experienced strong growth in recent years, particularly in the offshore segment, a target area on which Wärtsilä's Oslo team will be heavily focused. The company's new office, located at Stenersgata 2, will also enable the shipping clients to be served even more efficiently.

"Being close to our clients is important in order for us to continuously provide excellent services. We have to be where the customers are," says Ove Wilhelmsen, General Sales Manager, Wärtsilä Ship Power.

Wilhelmsen also points out that this current expansion is being carried out with recruiting in mind. "Wärtsilä's workforce consists of highly skilled individuals, who work in a very international environment, and we are committed to finding the best talent.
