The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has commenced development of a new strategic plan. The current Strategic Plan was developed in 1998. NOAA will hold a series of strategy and performance dialogues with stakeholders from industry, non-profit organizations, academia, state and
local governments, and others over the next few months. The new strategic plan is intended to serve as a blueprint for managing programs and guiding future budget, policy, and programmatic decisions.
