Great moments in naval architecture & marine engineering

The 18,000 TEU Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller, lead ship of Maersk's Triple E class, entered service as the world’s largest containership on July 2, 2013. The groundbreaking ship led a string of ultra-large containership deliveries that would continue to escalate in size in the years following. Today, the 21,413 TEU OOCL Hong Kong holds the world’s largest title.

The October 2018 edition of Maritime Reporter & Engineering News, the world’s largest audited circulation maritime magazine serving the maritime b2b space, will feature a special magazine supplement commemorating the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) 125th anniversary.
