Shearer Group Designs Bunker Barge
The Shearer Group, Inc. (TSGI) informs it has recently completed the design of a 130’ x 35’ x 10’ double skin bunker barge for an unspecified Gulf Coast marine fuel supplier.
The new barge design features below deck piping for cleaner and safer deck operations, the designer noted. Above deck are five oil tanks and one potable water tank.
Capacities:
Fuel oil: 4,500 barrels
Potable water: 40,000 gallons
Lube oil: 20,000 gallons
