Remontowa Shipbuilding launch building no. B 613/1, the largest ferry of this kind built by the yard to date. Remontowa Shipbuilding says it is the largest production shipyard in Poland, and the only one with extensive experience in the construction of ecological, gas powered ferries. During last five years they have built eight gas powered ferries to serve local car – passenger transportation on the Norwegian coast.
LNG Offshore Mega-Project Contract for Phusion
UK headquartered Phusion appointed as Data Management Contractor (DMC) for the INPEX-led Ichthys LNG Mega-Project. The six-year contract is worth £11.5 million (AUD17.6m).
Wärtsilä Signs Five Year LNG Agreement

Wärtsilä signed a five year maintenance agreement with Finnish ship owner, Viking Line. The agreement, which became effective from March 1, is for maintaining and servicing the recently launched 'Viking Grace', the largest passenger ferry ever to operate on liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel. The agreement covers the four Wärtsilä 50DF dual-fuel main engines, as well as the Wärtsilä LNGPac gas system's safety valves.

A recent upgrade to AtoBviaC’s end user applications for the BP Shipping Marine Distance Tables now means that users can adjust routes and obtain distances to match their own operations. The changes make it possible for the user to produce deviation reports following changes in voyage destinations. AtoBviaCs’ new interfaces for the BP Shipping Marine Distance Tables are ‘Port to Port –Online’ and ‘Port to Port v4’. Both applications allow users to edit routes to meet their particular needs.

ExxonMobil Canada Properties has released the option for Kvaerner's joint venture company Kiewit-Kvaerner Contractors to provide the full scope of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the Hebron Project gravity based structure (GBS). The contract value for Kvaerner's share of the full EPC contract is approximately $1.5 billion and includes work conducted to date on the Hebron project.
