The Switch, a technology specialist of megawatt-class permanent magnet (PM) machines for advanced marine drive trains, will deliver the PM shaft generators to be used in the solutions provided by WE Tech.
Marseille Fos Repeats Q1 Cargo Result

French port Marseille Fos handled 20.17 million metric tons of cargo from January to March in a near identical repeat of last yearâs first-quarter result. General cargo rose 1 percent to 4.49MT led by container growth at Fos, which gained 3 percent for 263,038 teu. However, total box volumes slipped 3 percent to 304,664 teu â and by 1 percent to 2.93MT in tonnage terms - after a difficult start to the year at Marseille, where container traffic fell 27 percent to 41,626 teu.

Shell Offshore Inc. today marked the delivery of the third liquefied natural gas (LNG) powered offshore supply vessel (OSV) in Port Fourchon, La. The new vessel, Harvey Liberty, chartered from specialist company Harvey Gulf International Marine, will join sister ships, Harvey Energy and Harvey Power, and support Shellâs deepwater operations in the Gulf of Mexico. âThis is an important milestone for Shell and Harvey Gulf,â said Tahir Faruqui, Shellâs General Manager LNG North America.
