Searching for the best images and videos taken using its leading underwater SD and HD cameras, Kongsberg Maritime’s ‘The Full Picture Photo and Video Competition’ starts today, Tuesday, August 26, and runs through to November 30, 2014.

All users of Kongsberg Maritime subsea cameras are invited to submit their best underwater still photos, SD or HD videos for a chance of winning an iPad, an iPod or Digital Camera, with the added incentive of the possibility of images being selected for use in Kongsberg Maritime promotional material. Entries can be submitted on the competition’s homepage (http://bit.ly/1zyfkmp).

“We see incredible photos and images taken using our cameras on a regular basis, so, we think it’s time to reward our users for their skill and creativity when capturing the secrets of the deep. Of course, pictures in shallow water will be accepted too,” said Mark Esslemont, Standard Products Sales Manager, Kongsberg Maritime.

All photos and video footage must be taken with a Kongsberg Maritime camera product to qualify for entry. Submitted materials must not be previously published, must specify the camera model number with which they were taken and be cleared for use by Kongsberg Maritime. Full competition terms and conditions can be found on the homepage.

The Full Picture Photo and Video Competition follows hot on the heels of Kongsberg Maritime’s Bathymetric Photo Competition, which took place earlier this year, and resulted in a wealth of stunning underwater imagery generated by users of the company’s hydroacoustic technology being submitted. The winners of that competition can be seen at http://bit.ly/1viATcZ.
