Interschalt Expands Network in China

Interschalt  maritime systems AG, a provider of maritime software and services for navigation and communication equipment (NavCom), as well as the manufacturer of the Voyage Data Recorder (VDR 4G[e] and S-VDR), has expanded its Asian service network by designating Seven Seas Electronic Co. Ltd as its preferred service partner in China.


Seven Seas Electronic Co. Ltd will be responsible for installing, commissioning, retrofitting and maintaining VDR G4[e], S-VDR, and MER-(s)-VDR systems, and for carrying out the annual VDR performance tests (APT) in line with IMO regulations. On behalf of Interschalt , the company will also take over a wide range of maintenance work on navigation and communication equipment for the Chinese market.


Thanks to the Seven Seas Electronic service stations in Shanghai, Dalian, TianJin, Yantai, Qingdao, LianYungang, YangZhou, ZhouShan, FuZhou, Xiamen, GuangZhou and FanChenGang, Interschalt  is now able to offer NavCom and VDR services to its customers in the most important Chinese ports. Conversely, Seven Seas Electronic will benefit from integration into Interschalt 's global service network.
