The close collaboration between Hyundai and Transas at all stages of the project will ensure the development of technically advanced and fully customized solutions specially adapted to suit the needs of the particular customer. Other anticipated benefits from the Hyundai – Transas cooperation include enhanced system functionality; any language support; service support, including software and system upgrades; technical support and professional operator training programs for navigating personnel.

Transas Director, Sven Rasmussen, commented: “This agreement is a big honour for us. We are proud that the well proven quality of Transas products has allowed us to become partners with Hyundai Heavy Industries, indisputably the world’s leading shipbuilder. We strongly believe that mutual trust, the high professionalism of both parties and the common goal, is the pledge of our successful cooperation.”

Hyundai and Transas will jointly develop the efficient and cost effective integrated bridge system, the use of which will bring a number of essential benefits to navigating personnel and will have a positive impact on improving ships’ overall operation and safety of navigation.
