Radio Holland Books Six-Ship Order From Royal Bodewes
Radio Holland Netherlands has received an order for a full Nav/Com package for six vessels being built at Royal Bodewes in Hoogezand, highlighting longstanding relationships, both with Royal Bodewes and manufacturer Furuno. The FURUNO FAR-22x8/23x8 series is characterised by its state-of-the-art antenna design and innovative signal processing techniques. Radio Holland will install the new FAR radar, together with 26” screens, on all six of the new vessels, which are being built at Royal Bodewes.
Radio Holland Names Lund Asia Regional Director
Radio Holland has appointed Steen Brodsgaard Lund as Regional Director Asia. He will be responsible for Radio Holland’s operations in Asia, with offices in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. Lund is a Danish national, and developed his career over the past 28 years while living in Pakistan, South Korea, India, Hong Kong, China and Singapore. Radio Holland Renews Contracts with Algoma, CSL and ASC
Recently, Radio Holland Canada and Radio Holland USA celebrated the renewals of key airtime contracts on the Great Lakes with Algoma Central Corporation (ACC), The CSL Group (CSL) and American Steamship Corporation (ASC). Collectively, the three companies operate approximately 65 Lakers which include tankers, self-loading and conventional bulk carriers. The companies signed initial agreements with Radio Holland in 2007.

Radio Holland Supplies Communications for Weir Complexes
Radio Holland’s Mission Critical Communications (MCC) department is responsible for the design, supply and commissioning of the communications system for the Nederrijn and Lek weir complex. This complex, consisting of three hydraulic structures, will be subjected to a major renovation. The Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure (Rijkswaterstaat) awarded the contract for this programme to Siemens in late 2015. Siemens had included the communications system designed by Radio Holland in its tender bid.

PGS, Radio Holland Expand Service Agreement
Norwegian marine geophysical company PGS has extended its non-exclusive service agreement with Radio Holland for navigation and communication services onboard nine seismic vessels in its global fleet. Radio Holland is known in the maritime industry for its NavCom and Maintenance services through its global network of more than 80 offices. Radio Holland Starts Operations in Abu Dhabi
Radio Holland, part of the newly formed company RH Marine Group, has recently received its commercial trade license for Abu Dhabi after signing a contract with sponsor Royal Ruby Group (RRG). Radio Holland Installs NavCom Equipment on US Training Ship
Radio Holland, part of the newly formed company RH Marine Group, has recently completed the installation of new radar and ECDIS equipment on the bridge of TS Golden Bear, the training ship of the California Maritime Academy. Radio Holland was awarded an initial contract from The United States Maritime Administration (MARAD) in March for replacing the gyroscopes and gyrocompass repeaters. Radio Holland then successfully tendered for a second MARAD contract for the radars and ECDIS in June.
Radio Holland Awarded Remote Monitoring Agreement
Radio Holland, part of the newly formed company RH Marine Group, has been awarded a Remote Monitoring Agreement from The China Navigation Company (CNCo). Under the new agreement, Radio Holland will install VDR Remote Interface on board three more CNCo vessels (Coral Chief, Highland Chief and New Guinea Chief). The company’s decision to place these three vessels under a Remote Monitoring Agreement follows a successful pilot scheme on its multipurpose vessel, the Papuan Chief.
