Algeria offers to purchase up to 320,000 t of corn, traders claim

European traders reported on Wednesday that the Algerian state agency ONAB had issued an international tender for up to 320,000 tons of animal feedcorn sourced only from Argentina or Brazil. They said that the deadline for submitting price offers to the tender is Thursday October 3.

European traders reported on Friday that Algerian state agency ONAB purchased an unknown quantity of animal feed corn from Argentina or Brazil as part of an international tender which ended on Thursday. The tender was for up to 240.000 tons.

Algerian traders claim that the country has purchased at least 600 000 T of milling wheat.
