According to its timetable, Ukrainian ferry company Ukrferry postponed resuming ferry service between Ukraine and Georgia. The service was suspended after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. Last month, the company announced that it would resume service from the Black Sea Port of Chornomorsk on July 9.

Denmark's A.P. Moller-Maersk, the Danish A.P. Maersk, among other shipping companies, has diverted ships around Africa's Cape of Good Hope to avoid attacks from Iran-aligned Houthi terrorists in the Red Sea since December. The longer voyage times have pushed freight rates up.
