China's Ningbo Zhoushan Port is one of the busiest in the world. State media reported that an explosion occurred on a container vessel on Friday. According to state media, no casualties have been reported following the explosion on YM Mobility around 1:40 p.m.

Authorities and a tanker operator reported that two large oil tanks caught fire after colliding on Friday near Singapore, which is the world's largest refuelling station. Two crew members were airlifted from the scene to the hospital, while others were rescued using life rafts.

Malaysia's Coast Guard said on Saturday one of two large oil tanks involved in an accident that resulted in fires on both vessels had left the scene of the accident. It was also believed that the tracking system of that tanker had been turned off.

Italian customs and police said that they intercepted two Chinese military drones disguised as wind-turbine equipment and bound for Libya. A joint statement stated that the drones had been disassembled and were hidden in six containers in the port of Gioia Tauro, in the southern region Calabria.
