The U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Center issued a Ballast Water Management System (BWMS) Type Approval Certificate to Korean manufacturer Techcross, Inc. after a detailed review of the manufacturerās type approval application determined the system met the requirements of 46 CFR 162.060.The treatment principle of the Techcross ECS-HYCHLOR BWMS consists of filtration and electrolysis during uptake and neutralization at discharge.
