Port Esbjerg Expands Capacity with Liebherr
The Port Esbjerg is gearing up for future business and opted for the world’s largest mobile harbor crane, the Liebherr LHM 800 with a maximum lifting capacity of up to 308 tonnes.Since 1874, the Port of Esbjerg has been the main center for sea carriage and trade between Denmark and the rest of the world. Today, the Port of Esbjerg is an international, multimodal transport center and an important Scandinavian gateway to the whole world.
Damen is Ready for Seawork 2019
Damen Shipyards Group will be attending Seawork International in Southampton, UK, on June 11-13, 2019 with two vessels on display and a quay-side trailer stand. In addition to a Multi Cat 1908 and the new design Shoalbuster 2711, which will both be open to visitors, the company will be represented by a comprehensive team of commercial and technical personnel.Seawork is renowned for being Europe's largest Commercial Marine and Workboat Exhibition.

ABB Opens Marine Service Center in Russia
The new Marine Service Center builds on a decade of local ABB services in support of ice-going vessels and relies on a strong core of engineering expertise in Murmansk. In 2009, ABB’s engineers operating from smaller scale service facilities in Murmansk supported 15 vessels featuring the group’s equipment; in 2019, the number of ships has exceeded 50, with projects covering over 100 Azipod propulsion units.
