Two new specialised livestock carriers have been named 'Gelbray Express' & 'Girolando Express' in a ceremony at the COSCO shipyard in Guangdong, China. Vroon inform that the godmothers are Ms Sophie Wang, Managing Director Landmark Global Exports Pty Ltd., who christened Gelbray Express, and Ms Marie Janet Blankers, wife of Mr Paul Pistorius, Head Operations at Vroon, who christened Girolando Express.

Louisiana LNG Project Gets Important Non-FTA Export Approval
Cameron LNG, one of the most advanced US LNG export projects, (promoted by GDF SUEZ as a shareholder and a capacity holder), has been granted conditional non-Free Trade Agreement (FTA) approval from the US Department of Energy (DOE). The Non-FTA agreement will enable GDF SUEZ to export LNG from the Cameron LNG project, in Louisiana, into countries that have not signed a FTA with the USA. GDF Suez inform that the project received FTA approval in January 2012.

Port of Vancouver Welcomes Maiden Voyage Filipinos
Port of Vancouver inform of the welcome given to the 'M/V Alam Sinar' commanded by Capt. Arturo A. Lobigas of the Philippines on the bulk carrier's recent maiden voyage arrival in the United States.
