The US Department of Defense has awarded a Navy contract for the LPD 17-class warship modernization. BAE San Diego Ship Repair, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $15,361,658 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-10-C-4407) to exercise an option for the USS Green Bay (LPD 20) fiscal 2013 dry-docking selected restricted availability.
