Maersk Container Line Leads in Reliability Says Report
The report, a joint effort between ecommerce network provider INTTRA and container shipping analyst SeaIntel, examined the performance of the top 20 container lines in schedule reliability. In the past year, Maersk Line has been the No.1 carrier in eight of the months and No.2 for four. Russia Plans New Aircraft Carriers
Russia will begin building new aircraft carriers after 2020 in a major boost to Moscow's ability to deploy air power abroad. U.S. Coast Guard Toledo Accept New Response Boat
Coast Guard Station Toledo, Ohio, takes delivery of new 45-foot Response Boat-Medium, from Marinette Marine, of Manitowoc, Wis. The RB-M can respond faster than previous boats of similar size with a top speed in excess of 40 knots, has advanced search capability with an installed forward-looking infrared search technology. Additionally, with twin jet propulsion, the vessel is able to respond in shallower water.
